I have a 2008 BMW 328i, it have a transmission problem and one of the codes it shows is 578E. The other code is CF17 and reads "No message from JBBF: Vehicle Mode, Receiver DKG/Electronic - Transmission Control (EGS). Transmitter DSC/Engine ECU . I don't have any idea what this means, but someone told me that the problem is because a miscommunication between the Trans and the car computer, not a transmission problem as it is.
Any idea/opinion ???
